First day of treatment

Today is my first day of Radiation and Chemo treatment. I went this morning for the radiation. You have a special mask made for you before you start the treatment so that when they do the radiation it only pinpoints the area that is needed and not anywhere else. They secured the mask down to the table so that i would not move my head while they were doing the radiation. The radiation itself didn't hurt or really make me feel anything different. After my treatment i went and visited with the nurse who spoke to me and Linda in regards to some warning signs after radiation (Brain swelling, possible seizures. etc) really nothing new that I haven't already been warned about. Had my chemo medication after dinner, feel kinda good this evening. Hope it stays this way!
