Staples Out

Today I went to the hospital to get my staples taken out. I was a little worried it would be painful, especially being in your head and all, but it didn't hurt, just felt like someone pinching me softly. I also had to get some blood-work done, my glucose levels are high, I have to start watching what I eat because I am now at high risk for diabetes. The doctors also noticed that my Dilantin (seizure medication) levels are low and I will have to have them monitored also. After the hospital appointment we went to drop off some paper work and then to my sister Linda's place for lunch. We had pea soup and panini sandwiches, she also gave me this drink that is made with a super berry called Lingon berry, it was really good. We also took some pictures of me with the family.

Later that evening my son Jamie came over and stayed for a couple of hours, we had a really good talk and I enjoyed his company. You can't get back what you missed in the past, but I hope we can go forward and cherish the times we have now.

By the end of the night I was definitely tired though.
