A long Monday.

Today I had my treatment in the morning and because my blood sugars have been elevated I have to see the nurse everyday so she can check it. My blood sugars at night are sometimes at 22, I have not seen the specialist yet about this, so instead the nurse recommended that I go and see Dr. Morgan who then told me that I was to go to emerge and he would have the endocrinologist asses my glucose levels. After 2 hours of waiting we finally got to see the specialist and she informed me that I have type 2 diabetes. They think it may be caused by the medications I am on. I now have to have two insulin injections in my stomach everyday. Who would have thought? After we were finished at the hospital Gail and Donald came and picked Linda and I up and we went and picked up Sara and had dinner at Swiss Chalet and did a few groceries before coming home. What a long day!
