This is a very important month for us
October is Brain Cancer awareness month and it would have been Brian's 63rd Birthday had he survived, But just from the lack of awareness though the media and the Cancer society itself, I see why Brian didn't have a chance in hell to survive this kind of Cancer, when Brian was first diagnosed he received a death sentence , all he was offered was some time nothing more nothing less and that makes us as a family of a loved one that didn't survive angry. There has been really no new treatments , surgery, radiation, chemo and the cyber knife and with some patience not all of these are viable to them, Like with Brian he could not have the cyber knife. There needs to be more understanding and research done on this type of cancer,
We know that there is not enough information upon diagnosis and that its not a glamorous cancer But people need to get on the grey band wagon and do more to promote awareness, Because if we cant find the cure at least let there be a more positive out come More need to survive, we can't change what happened to my husband Brian but we can make a difference for someone else, so donate, speak out and when someone you love or know is diagnosed ask them why? there is no new treatments
